X-Files News is on Archival Mode. Updates are on hiatus.

adriannaThis week's chosen artist is Adrianna Ojrzanowska from Warsaw, Poland. Adrianna is a self-taught artist and is currently studying Architecture. She does custom work as well, so if you're interested in ordering her work, send her a message on any of her social media platforms: Tumblr, DeviantArt or Facebook

Here's a little about Adrianna:

1. When did you become an X-Phile?

I'm a relatively new member of the fandom because I started to watch it about six months ago. The X-Files is older than me, so I was a little kid during its original broadcast, later on it wasn't widely popular in my country. I was encouraged to start the series by... Tumblr, I've seen much content there and decided that I should give it a go. I fell for it immediately.

2. What is the first episode you watched?

When I was five I stumbled upon one episode but it totally creeped me out. So... it could have been any of them. Conciously I started from the pilot.

3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?

I am very curious about the way Mulder and Scully will be working, living and generally doing their thing. It's been quite a while, right? Oh yes, I'm also very curious about William.

4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?

I draw a lot, even while I was watching the series for the first time I grabbed a random piece of paper and sketched out these federal agents. And A.D. Skinner from time to time. They were incredibly tempting characters to draw.

5. Who is your favorite character?

This is hard to choose. I think Scully. (and I am the same height, but shhhhhh...)

6. List your top 5 episodes.

Ice, War of the Coprophages, How The Ghosts Stole Christmas, Detour, Monday. Does Fight the Future count as an episode?

7. Favorite X-Files quote.

"Sometimes looking for extreme possibilities makes you blind to the probable explanation right in front of you." - Scully

8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?

I've gotten into a really amazing fandom. And you know, now I know that the truth is out there.

Thanks, Adrianna! And stay tuned for a new artist next Wednesday!
