It's Birthday time... well, almost!

We wanna make a video for Chris Carter's Birthday. X-Philanthropy and XFilesNews have teamed up and would love your help!

Send us a 7 seconds "Vine" style video message for Chris. Be creative. Show him some love. You can even emulate a famous scene from The X-Files or a reference to it, it's all up to you. The final video will be edited by the talented Gomnitus.

Just E-Mail us your video to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. The deadline is September 15th, 2015.

comic con logo smallWe know that not everyone can make the trek to San Diego Comic Con, but that shouldn't stop you from nerding out with the rest of your cohorts! We asked for everyone not going to SDCC to show us how much of an X-Files fan they are. Pretty easy, right?

Folks at Twitter shared their hardcore love for The X-Files in so many ways; from collections to tattoos and whole families dressed in X-Philey goodness. The reception was so overwhelming that made the task of picking favorites super hard. We had a over 150 entries! From those, we picked a selection of qualifiers for final evaluation and from those the final list of the awarded.

While we wait for tomorrow excitement, have you guys participated of the "X-Philes: They Wanted To Believe" project yet?

The team has successfully funded the documentary through Touscoprod, reaching 1,155 euros, more than the goal they set themselves for, and will allow them to travel through France and a few conventions in Europe.

If you want to participate of this documentary, but won't live in France or will attend a convention in this continent, you can still participate:
- Via the ambassadors in their countries
- By filming yourselves: Download their questionnaire here or in this alternative link: (the password is Badlaa). Send your videos via We Transfer to this adress: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Check out their first trailer and their official website to learn how to take part of it.

We all know that Chris Carter is behind the pen and paper of XF3's script maybe with the collaboration of his usual partners in crime (Frank Spotnitz, we're looking at you) ...Now, who would you want to see as director of the anticipated Mythology film? Leave your vote and comment!

Who do you think should direct XF3?
