Mark your calendars, Philes. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of The X-Files in 2018, X-Fest will be held March 3, 2018 in Utica, Illinois. The convention features a celebrity Q&A as well as episode screenings. Organizers say the event will have guests who are “series stand outs as well as rare and first time ever appearances.” Confirmed attendees so far are Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish, and Doug Hutchison.

General admission tickets as well as VIP passes, autograph, and photo op tickets go on sale November 27th at You can also follow the event organizers on Twitter and Facebook for updates and guest announcements.

We've just made you weekend plans for you, Philes. Season 10 is now available for streaming on Hulu. No more of that pesky "getting up off the couch" to change out the discs between episodes. If you don't have Hulu there are plenty of other ways to watch all 10 seasons. Head here to find out where.

If ever there was a song hand-made for The X-Files it would be Katy Perry's "Extraterrestrial" so it's no surprise that there are countless vids to it floating around the internet. This week's Fanvid Friday selection is one of the best, combining a hefty dose of mytharc goodness but focusing on the relationship between Mulder and Scully.

More Season 11 casting news! Haley Joel Osment will be part of the upcoming Skinner-centric episode. We don't know what role Osment will play, but the episode is written by Gabe Rotter and directed by Carol Banker, and will explore the backstory of Assistant Director Skinner. See more of what Mitch Pileggi has to say about the upcoming season here

This isn't the first time Osment has shared screen time with an X-Files star. Osment played Erol, the son of Gillian Anderson's character Markia, in 2013's "I'll Follow You Down." If you're never seen it, it's an interesting tale of time travel and the lengths a man will go to put his family back together. Check out the trailer here.
