Today's #FanvidFriday selection left me with a happy sigh and feelings that all is right in the world. Why? you ask. Because though Scully may be voicing concerns about where our favorite duo is headed in the future, an evidence-based study to the tune of "Making All Things New" by Aaron Espe makes it perfectly clear these two are going nowhere but home to each other. Always. End of story. Enjoy this heart-melting vid and don't forget to check out chanellenah's Youtube channel.
So.....anything momentous happen in last night's episode? Something some fans have waited....oh....25 years to see? Maybe? I'm not sure, the Watch Crew was pretty quiet about this episode....
Last night's viewing of "Plus One," written by Chris Carter and directed by Kevin Hooks, was moving along at a pretty great pace. The episode has all the feelings of the classic X-Files with a stop in the basement office, a spooky story, and a terrifying performance from Karin Konoval as Judy, Evil Judy, Chucky, and Evil Chucky. Mark Snow's score was completely on point, and there were a few laughs too. But there was something hinted at in the promos that many Shippers had never dared to hope they would see. We got to about 8:46 pm ET and then all hell broke loose. And I've been laughing ever since. They case was mostly resolved in the end but I don't think anyone noticed. I'll let your best tweets speak for themselves!
Actress Karin Konoval is already well known to observant X-Files fans. She played Madame Zelma in "Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose" in Season 3, but her terrifying portrayal of Mrs. Peacock in Season 4’s “Home” put Karin high on the list of the best guest actors to be on the series.
Fans were delighted to learn that she would be returning for a role in Season 11, but would anything be able to top Mrs. Peacock? If you’ve seen “Plus One,” you know that answer is a resounding yes. Karin played not one, but four different characters in Chris Carter’s wild episode. The characters of Little Judy, Evil Judy, Chucky, and Evil Chucky are funny, startling, and downright scary.
After seeing the episode we wanted to know more about how these characters came to life and we know you did too. We put a call out on Twitter for fan questions and chose the best for Karin to answer. She shares how the roles came together and some wonderful behind-the-scenes moments as well.
