I'm posting something a little different today but I know you guys won't mind.

I'd like to take a moment to remember not only that he died, but that he lived. And boy, did he live well.
Leonard Nimoy took his character, Spock, and truly changed the notion of what aliens could be in science fiction. Without his acting talents, Spock fast could have become a joke, a forgettable character used occasionally for a laugh. Instead, he turned Spock into perhaps the most complex character of the series, becoming a legend, and forever changing the genre I am proud to call myself a fan of.
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy. You truly lived long and prospered.
