More Season 11 casting news! Haley Joel Osment will be part of the upcoming Skinner-centric episode. We don't know what role Osment will play, but the episode is written by Gabe Rotter and directed by Carol Banker, and will explore the backstory of Assistant Director Skinner. This isn't the first time Osment has shared screen time with an X-Files star. Osment played Erol, the son of Gillian Anderson's character Markia, in 2013's "I'll Follow You Down."
