The weather might not feel like Spring yet, but it has sure arrived with the beginning of "Con" season. Calgary Expo is only a couple of days away, and XFN has been officially accredited to report live from the convention. This expo will take place over the weekend, April 26-28th in Calgary, AB at the BMO Centre.
If you are attending, prepare yourself for a great time because this is one of the biggest X-Files reunion in the past couple of years. Gillian Anderson, Robert Patrick, Mitch Pileggi, Mark Sheppard, and Cary Elwes are all in attendance. However, if you are unable to attend, fear no more because XFN's very own Jeremy Schoff and Matthew Nygren will be there all weekend to report live on all things X-Files.
Here's what you can look forward to this weekend at Calgary Expo:
Gillian Anderson
Gillian has been very busy the past year juggling 2 television shows, Hannibal and The Fall, as well as several movies, but she is making her way through several cons. Calgary Expo is just one of many conventions she has been to lately, giving philes the opportunity to meet their favorite skeptical FBI agent.
Gillian is appearing late Friday night, for autographs only, and then Saturday and Sunday all day. Her autograph table will be the same all 3 days: Table Z 208. She will be signing autographs Friday at 6PM, Saturday at 12PM and 3:30PM, and Sunday at 10AM and 2PM. Her photo sessions will be on Saturday at 11AM and 2:30PM, and on Sunday at 11AM. Photo sessions are $50. Gillian will be at The X-Files panel on Sunday at 12PM.
Robert Patrick
Between several blockbuster movies this past year and guest starring on more than a few television shows, Robert has had very little free time, but has saved some time for his fans attending a few conventions. Robert will be appearing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. His autograph table is the same for all 3 days: Table Z 310. He will be signing autographs Friday at 1PM and 4:30PM, Saturday at 12PM, 3:30PM and 6PM, and Sunday at 10AM and 2PM. His photo sessions will be Saturday at 11AM and 1:30PM and Sunday at 11:30AM. Photo sessions are $40. Robert will be at the Terminator panel on Saturday at 5PM and The X-Files panel on Sunday at 12PM.
Mitch Pileggi
Mitch Pileggi has not had much time off since The X-Files ended with guest roles on several television shows and a few movies, but he has saved a little of his free time to meet fans in a few recent conventions. Mitch can currently be seen on TNT's Dallas as Harry Ryland, and has been upgraded from recurring to regular cast this season. Mitch will be appearing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. His autograph table will be the same all 3 days: Table Z 404. He will be signing autographs Friday at 1PM and 4:30PM, Saturday at 12PM, 4PM and 6PM, and Sunday at 10AM and 3PM. His photo sessions will be Saturday at 11AM and 5PM and Sunday at 11:30Am and 1:30PM. Photo sessions are $40. Mitch will be at the Supernatural panel on Saturday at 3PM and The X-Files panel on Sunday at 12PM.
Mark Sheppard
Mark Sheppard is known to philes as the creepy guy from the episode "Fire", but he has a lot of Science Fiction credits under his belt including SyFy's Battlestar Galactica and Warehouse 13, and BBC's Doctor Who. He can currently be seen in his recurring role as Crowley on CW's Supernatural. Mark will be appearing Saturday and Sunday only. His autograph table will be the same on both days: Table Z 301. He will be signing autographs Saturday at 10:30AM, 4PM and 6PM, and Sunday at 10AM and 1:30PM. His photo sessions are Saturday at 1:30PM and 5PM. Photo sessions are $40. Mark will be at the Supernatural panel on Saturday at 3PM.
Cary Elwes
Cary Elwes is more commonly known to philes as Assistant Director Brad Follmer whom we all hated, mainly because of his disrespect towards Agent Doggett. Cary is also widely known as Westley from The Princess Bride and Dr. Gordon on the Saw series. Cary can be seen in several movies as well as guest roles on a few television shows including NBC's Law and Order and more recently on TNT's Leverage. Cary will be appearing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. His autograph table will be the same all 3 days: Table Z 206. He will be singing autographs Friday at 12:30PM and 6:30PM, Saturday at 10:30AM and 2:30PM, and Sunday at 10AM and 2:30PM. His photo sessions will be Friday at 6:30PM and Sunday at 1PM. Photo sessions are $40. Cary will be at The Princess Bride panel on Friday at 4:30PM and at the Saw panel on Saturday at 4:30PM.
Calgary Expo has not listed prices for autographs on their website, but there is an autograph fee for celebrity guests that can range from $10 to $95. There will be a special photo session for X-Files fans with Gillian Anderson, Robert Patrick and Mitch Pileggi on Saturday at 11AM and Sunday at 11:30AM. This special photo session is $120. All photo sessions will be held in the Big Four Building on the Stampede Grounds. Although photo sessions can still be currently purchased with a credit card on their website, it will be CASH ONLY onsite.
This event is completely sold out, and the Calgary Expo has announced that no new tickets will be sold onsite. So if you show up without a ticket, you will be turned away. However, if you would like to watch the entire event live from your computer, Calgary Expo has announced that they will broadcast the entire event on FlipOn.tv and you may purchase an event pass for full access here.

Calgary Expo has announced additional photo sessions for Cary Elwes on Saturday at 3:30PM and for Mark Sheppard on Sunday at 3PM. These are additional photo sessions and not replacements for the original dates. The Saw panel with Cary Elwes has been canceled. Calgary Expo has not expressed a reason why.
