It's been awhile since the soothing sounds of The Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company filled our computer screens and earbuds with a musical version of The X-Files. For those who missed it or simply don't know, last summer, the theater group put on two live performances of X-Files: The Musical.
Now most of us weren't able to make it all the way to Lincoln, Nebraska, but lucky for us, they streamed the play online. And if you couldn't watch it or want to relive the magic again, you can do so at their YouTube page.
You're guaranteed a good laugh because not even in the wildest of fanfics have Mulder and Scully broken out in song during an investigation. At least we hope so...

Check out Frank Spotnitz' latest interview at Screendaily. In there he gives a lot of details of his upcoming show, Hunted,
He was also asked about the chances of a 3rd X-Files Movie. Frank responded:
“There is a very active and relentless fan campaign for a last movie. I do feel like it would be a terrible shame if that didn’t happen. It feels wrong not to give it an ending around the alien colonization of earth. David [Duchovny] and Gillian [Anderson] feel the same. I have a clear idea of how it would go and I’ve been talking to Chris Carter about it for a long time. I’ll keep banging the drum whenever I meet the Fox guys [the studio holds the sequel rights but was disappointed by the original’s lackluster box office].”
We'll be informing of more details on Hunted as they come and any upcoming plans for the XF3 campaign.

Among other interesting facts discussed in the interview, when Leffler asked if Hunted would reach the same cult status as The X-Files, Spotnitz graciously responded: "It’s completely different from The X-Files, but it has the intelligence and sophistication of it" - and we have no doubt of it.
The production has been shooting on location in numerous places throughout Europe, including Morocco, London and Scotland.
