What is X-Files News?
Also known as XFN, we’re the only fan news website authorized by 20th Century Fox to advertise The X-Files franchise since 2008. Since then, we’ve actively promoted The X-Files cast and crew in their current projects, keeping fans connected to an ongoing evolution of television, film, publishing, and more. From interviews and promotional coverage, to fan events and charity drives, XFN is the home for all X-Philes on the internet.
Our mission is to keep the X-Files fan informed and in contact with relevant information about the show and the evolution of the franchise; the cast and crew's past, present and future ventures; charity drives; and fandom activities and initiatives. As a fandom entity, we aim to provide a space that ensures conversation amongst fans while promoting safe community practices that seek to enhance the well being of our members.
Our goal is to continue being a vehicle for the promotion of valuable information for our community, serving as a support system for their needs, while breaking old fandom standards and traditions by encouraging stronger ties in the fandom community.

Our staff is spread out all over the World. Coming from different walks of life, everyone has put together their professional training and natural talents to collaborate with XFN's development. Everyone on our team is a volunteer; none of the members receive payment for their time dedicated to the site.
