Fathom Events has reached out to XFN with a ticket giveaway for a one-night-only screening event of the thriller The Phoenix Incident. Featuring an exclusive never-before-seen documentary about UFOs and a Q&A from the 2016 International UFO Congress, the film will be shown in select theaters nationwide on March 10 7:30pm (local time).
On March 13, 1997 thousands of people claimed to have simultaneously witnessed unexplainable lights in the Phoenix, Arizona night sky. That included the then-state Governor Fife Symington. What were the lights? To this day it remains a mystery and footage of the incidents has been used in documentaries, films, and numerous media re-enactments on the subject of UFOs.
The Phoenix Incident is a fictionalized heart-pounding thriller based on this real-life event. Written and directed by gaming talent director Keith Arem (Call of Duty, Titanfall) and starring Troy Baker (famed gaming actor), this one-night event uses whistleblower testimony, recovered military footage and eyewitness accounts to create a sci-fi thriller that examines the US military’s alleged engagement of alien spacecrafts.
Fathom Events is giving XFN followers 4 tickets (two giveaway winners) for the best UFO-related explanation of what happened on March 13, 1997. Tweet your best explanation using the hashtag #PhoenixIncidentContest for a chance to win a pair of tickets for the screening at your local theater. The most creative answer will take the prize. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm March 6th. We will pick winners on March 7th. Entries can also be submitted via email to

There are only 4 days left until new episodes come to make us feel like it's 1998 again. We are so close now and what better way to watch it than getting together with fellow X-Philes to eat, drink and be merry (or maybe cry a little, or a lot) while watching the new episodes?
We have scouttered the internet looking for information about revival viewing parties all over the world and have put together a list for you to pick and choose which one to attend. We will continue to add to this list as new events come to our attention, so don't be sad if your state or country isn't listed. Or maybe just put together an event and send us the details so we can let the world know.
If you're attending one of these events, or another X-Files Revival event, please record a video of the crowd and the night as it unfolds, as well as pictures for a special XFN project in the future and send the file and pictures to us at
