Unfortunately the wait for The X-Files Season 11 Blu-rays and DVDs just got a little longer in the U.S. We had previously reported that July 23rd would be the big day, but FOX has informed us that release date has changed. The release will now happen September 18th.
Once you get your hands on a copy you'll be able to enjoy all 10 episodes from Season 11 as well as a bunch of behind-the-scenes goodies and special features. Those features differ depending on which format you purchase so here's what you can expect to find on each.

The wait is almost over! And yes, before we go any further, there will be bloopers. The X-Files Season 11 Blu-ray and DVD's will be available for purchase on July 23. You can preorder them now from Amazon and other retailers.

When XFN came to exist, back in 2007, no one really seriously considered when it would be our own “finale.” No one really understood the word “cancellation” when it came to this website and everything that we do. We just had a goalpost that we kept moving further and further away.
Mostly because in so many ways, XFN outgrew its initial purpose. We wanted to promote the show and bring it back for a third movie - or what became additional seasons - but that soon changed. We responded to the needs of many voices that came out of the fandom, and stayed because… we just love what we do. No one takes on a mission like this one for eleven years if you only have lukewarm feelings about it.
