Barbie Goes Back to the FBI With New X-Files Dolls

Are your Fight the Future Barbies looking a little lonely on the shelf? You can get them some company now. FOX has teamed up with Mattel and created these new Agent Dana Scully and Agent Fox Mulder Barbies in honor of the show's 25th Anniversary on September 10th. FOX says the dolls "celebrate the influential series that went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, becoming one of the most successful television dramas of all time."
The dolls will be released on Amazon on September 1, but you can pre-order Scully and Mulder now. Or find them at Mattel's official Barbie website, or at the FOX Shop where they've added some other 25th anniversary gear.

SDCC 2018: The XFN Panel

On July 19th, we had the honor of holding a panel at San Diego Comic Con 2018.
“Larger Than the Show: The X-Files Postmortem,” was moderated by Avi Quijada (X-Files News Editor-in-Chief), with panelists Colleen Evanson (The X-Files Abridged writer-producer), Roi Ollson (XFN Managing Editor), Keva Andersen (XFN Deputy Editor), Rebecca Welch (fandom collaborator), and Ky Johnson (XFN Features Editor) held an open conversation on the effects of the plot of the show in the 21st century, “The Scully Effect,” and the fandom’s self-sufficiency to create a preferable narrative.

This handshake on our TV screens on a Friday night was the start of something amazing. TV critics didn't give it much of a chance, but little did they know how big this new show called The X-Files would become. It was September 10th, 1993, when Mulder and Scully first came into our lives when the Pilot aired on FOX. 218 episodes and 2 films later, this year marks the 25th anniversary of our beloved show. To celebrate, we want to hear from you! We are putting together one last fandom video hurrah and we want to include as many people as possible. We want to know, what does 25 years of The X-Files mean to you? Tell us about a favorite moment, why you became a fan, why you've stayed with the show all these years. Did the show inspire friendships? Marriages? Did you find your career because of Mulder and Scully? Do you simply want to say thank you to the cast and crew? That works too!
