The Truth is Still Out There but Philes are going to wait a little longer for the next installment of The X-Files. According to TVLine, FOX CEO Dana Walden says there have been "conversations" with Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, and creator Chris Carter about doing more episodes. All three are reportedly "on board to do another installment," it's just a matter of scheduling. So while The X-Files won't be on the schedule for the 2016-17 TV season, FOX executives are hopeful that at this time next year they'll have an announcement to make. So that means Season 11 won't hit our TV screens until Fall 2017 or Spring 2018 at the earliest.
In February, we asked Chris Carter what a possible Season 11 would look like and this is what he had to say: "It looks like we need to figure out what happens after that moment on the bridge. What is that? An ARV? A UFO? Is that Alien or Man at the wheel? Someone suggested it was William at the wheel and I thought that was kind of funny.” He laughs. “You know, he would appear on cue. I think is an exciting place to come back to, don’t you think?" We also asked if there were any "must-haves" on his list for Season 11 and he said, "For David and Gillian being able to work at the same time for a good run so that we can come up with great material, so basically time, money and enthusiasm."
While we may have a wait on our hands, we know this fandom knows how to be patient. What are you doing to make the wait for Season 11 go by faster? Are you writing fic, creating art, editing fanvids? Let us know in the comments or share with us on Twitter or Facebook.

I had the opportunity to talk to and share some time with Robert Patrick during a recent visit to the set of Scorpion. The renowned actor has been enjoying the smash success of this campy and nerdy action series, one of the highest rated on CBS. The visit was an exciting experience where we were able to enjoy the great dynamic that the team behind the show have in place.
The production is located in Manhattan Beach, Calif., with additional scenes shot in Downtown L.A. and Santa Clarita, among other locations. Scorpion has made the city of Los Angeles its playground and with so many shows trying to make the town look like an entirely different place, this is for me one of its biggest attractions.
But what really makes Scorpion a one-of-a-kind moment for Patrick is the fiber of the show.
