Gillian Anderson's busy weekend in Los Angeles continued as she attended the Golden Globe Awards. In a post to her Instagram story, Gillian explained why she chose to wear black: "To stand in solidarity with women and men everywhere who have been silenced by discrimination, harassment or abuse. Wherever you are, whoever you are, whatever you're doing. Join us. #TimesUp." If you're not familiar with the Time's Up Movement that Gillian has been speaking about, read more here. Earlier this week after "My Struggle III" aired, someone posted a clip to YouTube claiming to hear a hidden message in the audio at the very end of the episode. We were intrigued but wanted to see for ourselves.
In our own version, we start with the end clip as it aired. You can hear garbled audio over the music as the vision plays out. Then we took that same clip, played it in reverse, and slowed it down just a touch. To our ears, a message is indeed revealed. Is it from Chris Carter himself? We don't know for certain, but as the voice itself says "the truth is out there." Take a listen and see what you think.
