This week’s chosen artist is Elias Archanjo, a design student from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You can find his work on Facebook, his Instagram, Twitter and his website.
Here's a little about Elias:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I can say I've been an X-Phile since I was a little kid. I was probably seven years old and scared to death of most episodes, but couldn't stop watching.
2. What is the first episode you watched?
I can't remember the first episode I watched when I was a kid, but as a grown up, I bought the box with all episodes and started to watch since the first one: Pilot.
3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?
Seeing Mulder and Scully working together again is already awesome. I hope that this new season has a little "Monster of the Week" and continues to show the series' mythology.
4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?
I love to draw the shows and movies that I like and that inspire me. When I heard The X-Files was coming back, I started to scribble. With the creation of the hashtag #TheXfiles201Days, I took over the mission of drawing one sketch for each episode.
5. Who is your favorite character?
Fox Mulder.
6. List your top 5 episodes.
Pilot, Home, Duane Barry, Memento Mori and Bad Blood.
7. Favorite X-Files quote.
Even being cliché: I WANT TO BELIEVE!
8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?
The X-Files was responsible for my passion for Sci-Fi and taught me to trust people...or not!
Thanks, Elias! And stay tuned for a new artist next Wednesday!
