Here's a little about Genevieve:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I started watching when it first aired in 1993. I was in the 3rd grade and though my parents were wary, I successfully persuaded them to let me. I was even Scully for Halloween.
2. What is the first episode you watched?
I watched the first episode (even taped it on VHS!), but the first episode I vividly remember was “Squeeze”.
3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?
I’m eager to see how they bring everyone back together, and how everything (or perhaps nothing) has changed. In general, I’m just excited to see new episodes. Doesn’t matter what they do—I love it unconditionally.
4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?
This piece is essentially my childhood in a nutshell--Geordi LaForge was my role model (he was the following year’s Halloween costume), and I had the I want to Believe poster in my room. I was fascinated with the stars when I was a kid, and The X-Files gave outer space a new narrative to explain what was out there.
5. Who is your favorite character?
I reveled every time the Lone Gunmen popped on the screen, specifically Frohike. I died when it was revealed he was a Tango dancer.

"Squeeze", "Home", "The Post-Modern Prometheus", "Bad Blood", "Small Potatoes". Honorary mention: "X-Cops".
7. Favorite X-Files quote.
Mulder: I’ve often felt that dreams are answers to questions we haven’t yet figured out how to ask.
8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?
Watching The X-Files provided a bonding experience between my younger sister and me. Four years younger, she was eager to do anything her big sister did, which included watching The X-Files (with a blanket pulled over her face). After each episode, to help calm her and lighten the mood, I reenacted the episode we just watched with her stuffed animals. Her Tickle-Me-Elmo played the role of Victor Tooms and the Cigarette Smoking Man.
