From TV Wise:
BBC One has ordered a 30 minute animated Christmas special titled Room On The Broom. An adaptation of the book of the same name, the half hour special will form part of BBC One's Christmas line-up and will feature a range of talent which includes, amongst others, Gillian Anderson and Simon Pegg.
Based on the children's book by Juilia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Room On The Broom tells the story of a kind witch who invites a surprising collection of animals to join her on her broom, much to the frustration of her cat. The gang ultimately saves the witch from a fearsome dragon, and in gratitude she rewards them with a magnificent new broom which has room for everyone. The 30 minute Christmas special is being produced by Magic Light Pictures and will be narrated by Simon Pegg (Star Trek). Also lending their voices to the production are Gillian Anderson (The X-Files), Rob Brydon (Gavin & Stacey), Martin Clunes (Doc Martin), Sally Hawkins (Made In Dagenham), David Walliams (Little Britain) and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter).

When I started this website back in 2004, I didn't really know where it would lead. Eight years later, I've discovered that Big Light has allowed me to have conversations and friendships with thousands of fans across the planet. I'm incredibly honored and grateful for your support.
