We know by now that some X-Philes are "Castilians"; those very dedicated fans of the TV show Castle. We're also certain that all of us are fans of all of the X-Files Crew, especially of Rob Bowman. He's not only one of the most beloved X-Files' directors but he's also the Executive Producer of the hit ABC procedural dramedy.
Come November 17th & 18th, Mr. Bowman will attend Castle Con 2012 that will take place in Los Angeles at the Marriot LAX. Besides him, production designer Alfred Sole, Editors Marta Evry & Warren Bowman, dolly grip Christopher Brow and post-production coordinator Stephen Bowman will also be in attendance.
Other guests from Cast & Crew will be confirmed closer to the event date.
If you want to attend, there's still a few tickets left for purchase at their official website, but don't delay, they will sure go fast!

Hunted premieres in the US in just a little over a month. October 19th at 10pm is the official date for the show's first episode to air on CINEMAX. The show, as you may know already and according to the show's press release, follows the story of Sam Hunter:
"... a skilled, gutsy operative for Byzantium, a secretive private firm involved in global intelligence and espionage. After surviving an attempt on her life that may have been orchestrated by members of her own team, she returns to work, but doesn't know who to trust. Hunted follows two primary story lines: Sam Hunter's (Melissa George) journey to discover who is behind the attempt on her life and Byzantium's mission itself, both of which have larger implications. As the story unfolds, it becomes hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. Uncertain of its clients' motives, the Byzantium team often finds itself working in the gray area, forcing Sam to operate in complete secrecy for her own safety."
Part of the very innovative marketing strategy, you can get to know Byzantium through the "company's" website. Also know if you're part of the "1% that matters," fit to be one of the Byzantium's operatives. Just take their test, and be part of the experience.
Thanks to the CINEMAX marketing team, for allowing us to share part of the press release after the jump.

Hello Philes! It's almost birthday time at XFN! In celebration of our 5th birthday, and in light of the recent Olympic Swim Team's cover version of "Call Me Maybe" and the outstanding success of the latest Tweet-A-Thon (45,357 tweets and TT in France, Germany and Australia!), we've decided to take the phile fun to a whole new level.
XFN staff are hard at work on our own cover of "Call Me Maybe," titled GREENLIGHT BABY. With lyrics by Keva Andersen, vocals by our own Tiffany Devol, and a production team made up of XFN's editor-in-chief (and XFN Productions principle) Avi Quijada, LAX-Files' Erica Fraga, and XFN's Joselyn Rojas; we felt this would be a fun project to celebrate the 19th 10/13 as well as XFN's 5th birthday!
What do you need to do? Grab a video camera and film yourselves (and friends!) acting out the lyrics! How, where, or with whom you film is completely up to you, but whatever you do, the idea is to promote XF3!

In 1972, the FBI sent its first two women to Quantico. Forty years and thousands of women later, there are female special agents working all throughout the FBI. In celebration of this, Gillian Anderson recently recorded a video recognizing the women of the FBI, for without them, Scully would have never held a badge.
