To continue with the slew of goodies before the premiere of The X-Files Season 11, FOX has released the promotional pictures for "This," the second episode of the season, written and directed by Glen Morgan. While some of these pictures aren't particularly "spoilery," be forewarned that there is a good amount of awesome and kickass in the thirteen pictures you'll find after the jump.

FOX has released a sneak peek of what's to come from The X-Files' season opener "My Struggle III." These promo photos give us an idea of where we find Mulder and Scully after last season's cliffhanger. Be warned though, the photos contain some spoilers as to what's happening in the episode. With just a few weeks before the premiere of The X-Files – Season 11, we’ve had the opportunity to preview the first five episodes of the season.

The episodes shared with us are not final; they’re still in various states of completion, with a few details of ADR, VFX, color correction, music and sound mixing still to be finessed… so we had to use our imagination in some parts. We're just 19 days away from the season premiere of The X-Files on January 3rd, and FOX has shared yet another look at what we can expect to see. Gillian Anderson says that she thinks this season feels more like the "quintessential" X-Files of years past, while David Duchovny says they were better set up to get back to the partnership and the banter we all know and love. FOX has revealed the titles and air dates of the first five episodes of Season 11. As we knew, the series returns to air on January 3, 2018 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with "My Struggle III." The next four episodes will air on consecutive Wednesdays and are written by Chris Carter, Glen Morgan, Darin Morgan, and James Wong.
