This week’s chosen artist is Genevieve Santos, from San Jose, CA. Genevieve has a store on Etsy where you can purchase some of her work. You can connect with her and find all of her work on website, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Here's a little about Genevieve:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I started watching when it first aired in 1993. I was in the 3rd grade and though my parents were wary, I successfully persuaded them to let me. I was even Scully for Halloween.
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Well, at least according to Fox Mulder. October is in fact the spookiest month of the year—when ghosts and ghouls come out to play. Here's to hoping that paranormal apparitions don't have Mulder and Scully shooting at each other again.
If you're eager to get into the Halloween spirit, then we're here to help. Join the 6th Annual XFN Pumpkin Carving Contest to make the most of this holiday. With the Revival upcoming, you should have plenty of X-Files excitement to channel into a pumpkin.
Here's what you need to know:
So who decides the winner? Well in the past, guest judges have included Frank Spotnitz, Annabeth Gish, Chris Carter, and Gillian Anderson, so you can expect a judge with some serious X-Files knowledge. That means it's time to bring your X game. Plus, the winner will be receiving some cool X-Files goodies!
Not sure where to start? Check out past entries from 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011 to get some inspiration. Happy carving, Philes!
