This week’s chosen artist is Dimitris Plavoukos, AKA Steve Rogers, from Athens, Greece. Dimitris is the creator of the very popular Facebook group X-Files Revival. You can find his work on Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook.
Here's a little about Dimitris:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I became an X-Phile long before the word even existed lol so one night, my sis and I, we are watching TV, nobody got abducted though, and on TV, in Greece, the promo comes up for The X-Files. My sis was like, "isn't that the guy from Red Shoe Diaries?" and I was like, "oh wow who is she, she is beautiful" and then the line "do you believe in the existence of extraterrestrials?". We were hooked. So we watched the pilot, which we both think that to this day remains one of the finest pilots in TV history, and I have been a Phile ever since :)
You may remember that in addition to her work on the Earthend Saga, Gillian Anderson is also hard at work on another book. WE: A Manifesto for Modern Women will hit stores next March. The self-help book was first announced in April, and its 2016 release will coincide with International Women's Day.
Gillian herself describes the book as "call-out to all women around the world…that we need to stick together and stand up for each other and not compete against each other." In a day and age when there is a constant barrage of pressure on young girls and women, WE should be a very interesting read.
Check out the original article on WE here, and head over to Amazon to pre-order the book now!
David Duchovny has had a busy summer between shooting the X-Files revival and promoting his first album Hell or Highwater. He's keeping the music rolling right through the Fall and has announced three concerts in October.
His first stop is The Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, on October 26. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. This show is for all ages. VIP Meet and Greet packages are available which include: one show ticket, an autographed CD, a David Duchovny t-shirt, and a photo with the rockstar himself. Get tickets here.

Duchovny then heads to Philadelphia where you can catch a show at the Ardmore Music Hall. Doors open at 7:30 pm for an 8:00 pm show. This show is for 21 and over. Get tickets in advance if you can because the price goes up $5 the day of the concert. VIP packages are also available at this show. Get tickets here.
And don't worry West Coast fans, ThinkSay Records President, Brad Davidson took to twitter earlier this month to say they're working on making some West Coast shows happen, and tagged Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego specifically. So far, there are no hints about International shows but we'll keep you posted.
