Gillian Anderson has been one busy bee with new TV shows coming out soon (The Fall and Hannibal) as well as a couple of movies. Now Anderson fans have a couple more reasons to be excited as she has been added to Jon Wright's' Our Robots Overlords, a new Sci-Fi film by UK Embankment Films.
This will be Anderson's first Sci-Fi project since The X-Files. With a script by Caroline Thompson (Edward Scissorhands and A Nightmare Before Christmas) which is based on Rupert Wyatt’s adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’ acclaimed novel Birdsong and Andy Serkis’ 3D imagining of the George Orwell's Animal Farm, Our Robots Overlords has good reasons to get fans excited. Joining Anderson in this film is also Sir Ben Kingsley (Schindler's List and Hugo).
