This is not a drill, repeat not a drill! FOX has confirmed a new order of X-Files episodes for the 2017-18 broadcast season. We have even more episodes to look forward to as Season 11 will have 10 episodes starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, an increase from the 6 we got in Season 10. Production for the new season is set to begin this summer! It didn't take long for the stars of the show to share the news on twitter, with Gillian jumping in first.

La-La Land Records has shared that a 2-cd set of Mark Snow’s score from Season 10 will be available on April 25. Keep an eye on their website for more details and be ready to grab your copy there when the sale starts on 4/25 at 3pm ET/ 12pm PT.

Coming July 18th, you can listen to Mulder and Scully’s adventures in “The X-Files: Cold Cases” on Audible. The stories are based on the Season 10 comics from Joe Harris and IDW, which were published in 2013. They're set in a different universe than the events we saw in Season 10 on television. You can listen to an excerpt here. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are back as Mulder and Scully, and are joined by other original cast members like William B. David, Mitch Pileggi, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund and Bruce Harwood.
